Tracey Corinne, while an accomplished artist in several mediums, is best known for her mosaics which incorporate the earthly and ethereal, the ancient and the modern in material and subject.
Tracey employs both geometric pattern and literal representation in single works using ironic or cynical humor such as toys which cannot be played with after being encrusted with glass or hearts which can leave sliced fingers if carelessly touched. Her use of mirror and iridescent glass invokes light on water or brilliant sun through canopy, imbuing each work with multiple, often contradicting layers of meaning.
She accepts private commissions of all make and matter specializing in subject matter of nature and pattern. Teaching all levels and methods of mosaic art, she brings new interest to this enduring and ever evolving art form.
